Mike Goebig

Mike has  been involved with Morgan horses his entire life. Opening his first  public stable in 1970, he has produced many regional, national and  world champions. Some of his favorites include: Equinox Damsel, Beams  Warlock, Greentree  Maryjane, Paramount Perfection, Three C  Avenger, HVK Frango, Opies Boy, The Masters Touch and Stand And Deliver. Mike is also the only six-time winner of the World Park Saddle Championship, an unbelievable accomplishment!

Mike  is currently the AMHA Region 2 Director and a director of the Mid-Atlantic Morgan Horse Club.  As an AMHA Director, he is active on the Registry Committee and in the past, served as Chairperson of the  Professional Horsemen's Committee. Recently, he was inducted into the AMHA Hall of Fame, and is a recipient of the AMHA Golden Reins award and the USEF Equestrians of Honor.

Mike's hobbies include gourmet cooking, traveling and a strong interest in history.

Dwayne Knowles

Dwayne has been involved with Morgan horses since 1979. Cutting his teeth on hack- type horses, he slowly developed a special affection for Morgans.  He honed his equine skills under the expert tutelage of Mike Goebig for 12 years. Since then, he has added world championships to his list with Get Busy and Signed Sealed Delivered.

Dwayne accepted his first assignment as Trainer at Limerick Morgans where he produced regional, national and world champions. Some of his favorites include: Paramount Your Love, Lorien Top Medalist, Bandelaro, Charlestown Firecracker, and Futurity Caveat. Dwayne rejoined Mike at Broadmoor as a partner in 1994.

Dwayne  is a licensed USEF large "R" judge in both the Morgan and Saddle Seat Equitation divisions. He has judged many shows throughout the United States, and in 2006, judged the European National Horse Show in England.

Dwayne's hobbies include eating gourmet meals, traveling, and enhancing his computer skills.
